Abstract

The aim of the work is to explore the possibility of partially replacing the cement with quarry dust in the production of cement mortar with the aim of promoting sustainability in construction works. In the course of carrying out the research, the quarry dust was used as a replacement of the cement at 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%. From the findings of the research, the workability of the mortar reduces as the percentage of quarry dust increases, while the compressive strength of the mortar increases as the percentage of quarry dust increases, with the best results at 10%.
